We were lucky enough to win the last Devon Cattle Breeders' Society herd competition, so we officially have the best herd of Devons in the country, an accolade we are very proud of.

We also won a Gold Star award from the Guild of Fine Food for our sirloin steak.

Like most farmers in the UK at the moment, we are desperate for rain to make the grass & crops grow. We have been lucky enough to have some rain here but some farmers in the East of the country have had
only 10% of the normal rainfall & crops are failing.

We are just coming to the end of the main calvings and have had some lovely calves, now out in the fields. The bulls (we have 7 working) have been turned in with the cows and heifers so that they will be calving again next February.
